In this week's Club Communications we bring you information on the upcoming Rugby Development Strategy Roadshows alongside important reminders for clubs on this year's funding models, Club Accident Insurance and the latest from this week's Tackle Tuesday video.

Rugby Development Strategy 24-28 Roadshows

Scottish Rugby is in the process of developing a new 2024-28 strategy for the community game and would like to invite club, school and society representatives to attend a strategy roadshow in September.

The Strategy Roadshows will be an opportunity to have your say on the priorities moving forward for the community game.

Roadshow dates (All dates 6.30-9.30pm)

Club rugby returns this weekend!

Club rugby returns this weekend with the Women's leagues beginning for the 2023/24 season on Saturday!

Reminder: Club Funding

Reminder: Club Accident Insurance

Two funding models are available for eligible clubs for the 2023/24 season: the Club Investment Fund and Developing Club Investment Programme.

To confirm participation in one of the funds, Clubs should return the signed Acceptance Form (found in the final page of the documents) to rugbydevelopmentadmin@sru.org.uk no later than Sunday 27 August.

Scottish Rugby wishes to remind clubs that following on from last season's change, the Club Accident Insurance process can be accessed via SCRUMS.

Clubs are invited to complete their 2023/24 Proposal Form on SCRUMS by no later than Friday 15 September.

Tackle Tuesday on Twitter

Every Tuesday Rugby Development will bring you a brand new edition of Tackle Tuesday, a video resource analysing several tackle scenarios from across the grassroots game to support clubs and referees with the Tackle Height Law Trials.

A new video will be posted every Tuesday via @scotrugbycoach.
