Scottish Rugby's Longest Pass needs you! |
|
Ahead of the Rugby World Cup in France next year, Scotland are re-creating Scottish Rugby’s Longest Pass, which became a worldwide phenomenon in 2011.
Scotland supporters from all over the world can now once again take part in The Longest Pass over the next 12 months. The aim is to see a rugby ball – or whatever else you can get your hands on – passed from person to person in a global series of video clips.
The best clips will be linked together to form The Longest Pass, and you could be part of it.You could even see yourself appearing on the Big Screens at BT Murrayfield this autumn, with the first video being shown on the big screens ahead of the match between Scotland and New Zealand on Sunday 13 November.
Here are some key things to remember:
- Receive ball from the right and pass to the left
- Film in landscape
- If possible film with a local landmark in the background (to show supporters are all over the country)
- Use a ball if possible but if you don’t have a ball you can pass anything!
Email your videos to marketing@sru.org.uk to be in with a chance of appearing on the big screens this autumn!
