Silver Saturday returns this weekend - Sarah Beaney Cup finalists confirmed & boradcasting details announced

After fending off Stirling County 49-19 in their semi-final last weekend, Corstorphine Cougars have secured their placed in the Sarah Beaney Cup final at Silver Saturday, facing Watsonians for the title. This is the first time Cougars have made it to the final since the 2012/13 season.

There is still a chance to get your tickets, don't miss out!

Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for Seniors and U18s. Booking fees apply.

Community Game survey - a note from Gav Scott and Keith Wallace

The Club Rugby Board, in conjunction with the Rugby Development department, are in the early stages of creating a new strategy for the community game to be launched in 2024.

To support this process we are seeking feedback from clubs, schools and societies on the previous 2019-23 strategy (available in the link below) and views on areas of focus for the next strategy.

Please view the survey via the link below. The deadline for submission is Sunday 21 May.

Results of this survey will be used to shape the 'have your say' strategy session at the Community Game Conference on Sunday 11 June at BT Murrayfield (please book a place at the conference via SCRUMS).

Community Game Conference reminder

Revised season structures for men’s game

Eilidh Barbour has been confirmed as the host for the Community Game Conference at BT Murrayfield on Sunday 11 June.

Chris Paterson, Scottish Rugby Ambassador and Specialist Coach, has been announced as one of the guest speakers alongside Russell ‘Rusty’ Earnshaw, Co-Founder and Director at the Magic Academy.

In case you missed it, last week Scottish Rugby confirmed a series of changes to the men's season structure from the 2023/24 season.

Brand-new tackle height webinar & roadshow reminder

Scottish Rugby has created a new webinar on the tackle height law trials which will start next season. We kindly ask that you share this webinar with players, coaches, referees and volunteers at your club, school or society.

The webinar explains the changes to the tackle height, including an explanation of the rationale and examples of the maximum tackle height. Click on the link below to watch the webinar.
