The Tennent's National Division 1 and Division 2 Leagues were concluded last weekend, as Kelso and Glasgow Academicals topped their respective tables for promotion.
Kelso's away victory of Highland RFC (5-7) saw them secure the title win on 96 points, 10 points clear from the top.
Accies 53-15 win over Falkirk saw them take the title win on points difference, edging the victory by one point from Newton Stewart.
Many congratulations to both teams for their effort this year, and to all those clubs and team who took part. |
Community Game Conference - register for free tickets! |
Registrations for Scottish Rugby's Community Game Conference on Sunday 11 June are now open!
The event will build upon last season’s conference and aims to attract over 300 club, school and society leaders, coaches and match officials.
The event will showcase workshops on a range of topics including club and facilities development, coaching, match official and player development, and will involve guest speakers from throughout the country and abroad (further details to be announced throughout May).
The conference is free is charge to attend, with the option to donate towards the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

Reminder: Scottish Rugby National Awards nominations open |
Scottish Rugby is seeking nominations for the three national award categories.
The National Awards programme aims to recognise the performance contributions of players and coaches in the domestic game, alongside awarding those who have contributed to the wider game, both on and off the pitch.

Seven finals in one action-packed day - Silver Saturday returns for 2023 as Scotland's top club sides in the men's and women's game battle it out for the silverware at BT Murrayfield Stadium and DAM Health Stadium on Saturday 6 May.

Tickets are on sale now at scottishrugbytickets.com. Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for Seniors and U18s. Booking fees apply.

Royal Bank Young Ambassador Programme is looking for passionate 18-35 year olds, to kick start their club’s climate action plan. The initiative supports the next generation of rugby club leaders with 15 individuals receiving a £500 Regeneration grant for their club and access to exclusive rugby events. T&Cs apply.
